seriously? we're on this again?

h/t to feministing

this is getting a little old, constantly having to repeat over and over again:  GREY RAPE DOES NOT EXIST!

it didn’t exist when that idiot laura sessions-stepp made it up to give her book sales a boost.

 it didn’t exist when Cosmo editors got stupid and published a bullshit article about it…

or when they defended it w/ condescending email responses from concerned feminists.

so let’s review:

victim blaming hurts victims

no=no.  always.  end of story.

lack of consent=no

too drunk to consent=no

enthusiastic consent=yes!

yes=yes

i don’t want to have this talk w/ you again.

but i would like to say how incredibly impressed i am that so many people went to that article to tell the author that we are not going to take anyone perpetuating dangerous myths.  what an amazing bunch of people out there, men and women, telling it like it is.

rape is rape is rape.

    Well, if you feel entitled to use other people’s bodies without regard to their personhood or basic human rights, seems natural you would find ways to make rape not rape. Of course, NO ONE IS ENTITLED TO USE ANOTHER PERSON’S BODY WITHOUT REGARD TO THEIR PERSONHOOD OR BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS!

    There, I feel better now.
