thursday blogwhoring

i haven’t done a thursday blogwhoring in a while…

i am going to turn this into a “show you mine if you show me yours” kind of thing, which i think is a little more what “blogwhoring” really is…

for starters, Liss gives a rundown of who is winning the “suckiest journalism olympics”.

i don’t think i need to tell you that the Red Queen has started an awesome new meme.  she has also had some pretty kickin’ posts about the institutionalism of sexism (not that she needs the blogwhoring w/ 700 hits today!  rock on!), whether you admit it’s there or not (here’s a clue, if you don’t, you aren’t paying attention).

soopermouse, and her well worded points on, well, everything!

Tobes does a comparison b/t Tina Fey’s funny and profound take on sexism, and Tracy Morgan’s…well…there is really no comparison.  i think it shows that sexism really IS the last acceptable form of prejudice.

and Shark-Fu reminds us that while we may not approve of the war, we can’t forget the people.  and, a post that while i can’t say i have ever been in her shoes exactly, i can relate to her words about feeling uncomfortable w/ the words i heard from the pulpit.

finally, a new blog i ran across, and she is trying to bring attention to issues that affect the disabled.  most recently, she brings attention to the horrors of Ashley X…

and while i may not have the most highly trafficked blog around my corner of the intertubes, please, gimme what ya got, readerland!  what have you been doing this week?
