i want my two dollars!

i did some filing today.

helped the Kid make her scrapbook page for kindergarten, which was fun.

filled out the financial aid paperwork for next school year for her school.

had a great dinner w/ my great family.

and now, i am watching Better Off Dead, which i have never seen, but since i have been meaning to expand my John Cusack repatoire, seemed like a good idea.  even when the claymation burger showed up.

in other words, it was a pretty good day.

Better Off Dead is a great movie.

I may have to boil some bacon for breakfast! ;)

  2. Red Queen says:

Better off dead is the best 80′s movie ever.

And John Cusack hates it. I don’t know what is wrong with him. But serously, happy fuzzy bunnies, snorting pure snow, the language of love. It is awesome

i would say John Cusack is off his rocker, but i think that goes w/o saying.

    part of the charm.

my first John Cusack movie was Grosse Pointe Blank (MI love, duh!), and then i saw Say Anything.

  4. ouyangdan says:

oh! and GPB gets the double whammy bonus from me for having both John and Joan Cusack! i love her!

  5. Red Queen says:

I thought both of them were in Say Anything. I could be dead wrong though.

I know they’ve done more movies than that together, surely!

  6. K8 says:

They’re both in most of his movies. High Fidelity I know for sure, too lazy to imdb.com right now.
    Fav line from BOD:

“Go that way…really fast. If something gets in your way, turn.”

like i said, i haven’t seen a lot of John Cusack movies. i have no excuses, since i like the ones i have seen. i know there is a cult following and a bunch of running gags in his movies…like Adam Sandler but funny. i had heard that he usually plays the sax and that his sister is in a lot of them.

and yes, K8, i love that line, and that everyone seems to say it. hahaha.

has anyone seen identity. not typical, but one of the first ones i had seen w/ him in it.
