		<description>It happens so much.  I have seen it in action in Waikiki.  I have read old laws that governed prostitution, and when it was less than illegal (the law was worded strangely) there were literally blocks where it was OK to solicit and blocks where it wasn&#039;t, all to hide anything other than the glamourous shopping, hopping clubs, and sparkling beaches from the tourists.

There is a lot to be seen in areas where the privileged holiday.  None of it is on a guided tour.</description>

		<description>Thank you so much for writing this.  I really believe that we need to pull back the covers from the places that we as a paradise because it reveals just how unequal the world is.  When we go on vacation we think that we should be in a place where poverty does not exist and this causes places that rely on tourism to hide the poor from view.
I live in a tourist area myself and the homeless are routinely swept away from Clifton Hill (the area close to Niagara Falls)  They are considered threatening because they disturb the illusion that tourists want maintained when they are on vacation.</description>
