The Long Overdue Edition

I am several weeks behind in my “Blog Fodder” folder.  No excuses, no apologies.

Jill at Feministe has an incredible post about an article at NPR on the fight against South Dakota’s abortion ban.  Hearing the words “never necessary” makes me want to rip my hair out.  Who gets to decide what is or isn’t necessary for my body?  It really is the “LALALALALA I can’t hear you!” argument.

Racialicious tells us that apparently it’s open season on Natives.

Anthony Neidwiecki from Pam’s House Blend shows us, using Michigan’s existing laws (I am so ashamed of my home state right now) how Florida’s Amendment 2 will be harmful to Florida.

The Red Queen pleas w/ California.

Renee makes me think outside the privilege box, on something I never realized was a form of privilege.

If you have something good, drop it in comments.
