If you are a WoW n3rd like I am…

you NEED to play this week for Children’s week.

Auntiepally and Dornaa in Lower City

Auntiepally and Dornaa in Lower City

You get to take a cute little kid around w/ you on a bunch of quests.

For the Alliance (60+) you are responsible for the cutest little Draenei girl *squeee*.

So, yeah, I am a total gamer dork.

But she’s soooo cuuuuute!

There are kids for the Horde too, but I am not really playing my BE Lock right now.  For the under 10′s there is a Human kid and a Blood Elf kid that you get in one of the newbie cities.

I am a sucker for World Event achievements!

    LOL!

I’ll be sure the tell the hubby about this!

I just wish they’d take away the PVP requirements for the world achievements. I HATE PVP, which is why I play on a PVE server; I’m not geared for anything but suckage at PVP, and I don’t really think it’s fair that it should count towards the meta for the achievements!
    /end PVP rant

Because I am also a big WoW nerd… The under 10 child for Horde is an Orc, actually. The BE kid you get from Shattrath. :)

    • Ouyang Dan says:

I think I was confused cuz I keep seeing the Orc kids runnin’ around Shatt.

I don’t ever play my Horde toons b/c no one that I game w/ plays Horde. I have a BE Lock wasting away unplayed.

      • Llencelyn says:

Are you joining the Shaker guild? It’s Alliance, too, but I have a 78 (nearly 80!) undead ‘lock on the same server… ^_^

        • Ouyang Dan says:

No. I was not aware that they had settled on a guild.

I’d have to roll a new one, cuz I am so done w/ the transferring of toons. I just transferred my 70 NE DK to the server I am on now.

You’ll have to let me know what server it is…that might be fun. :) I like to play w/ groups, even if it isn’t a guild, and I have only ever raised up Horde characters on PVP servers (I think Blizzard intends for Horde to be better for PVP, b/c it is my experience that it works better).

UrsusRufus and Arkades wanted to start playing again, so they’re organizing it. They did a post a while back and were gonna do another one once everything got finalized. We’re still voting on a guild name.

            What we know so far:

            Server: Steamwheedle Cartel (PVE Normal)
            Faction: Alliance

You can go to the Yahoo group and join up – just send a message to Ursus (Yahoo ID: redbeardsean [I am pretty sure it is Ursus handling things, not Arkades. Don't take my word for it, though]) letting him know it’s you if your Yahoo ID isn’t a handle he’d recognize.

            My current handles on Steamwheedle:

Alliance toon for Shaker guild is, handily, Llencelyn – a human priest (modeled after my current D&D char ^_^)

Goewyn is my main, a 78 undead warlock.

Cassiline is my Beloved’s main, but I’m playing it until he gets back from Afghanistan.

Starting maybe Tuesday, after I’ve unloaded the trailer from moving back downstate, I’ll be on fairly daily, so feel free to say hi if you get bored. :)

Oh, I remember the thread…I was wondering if they had settled a server/faction yet, and apparently they did. LOL.

I might consider my Lock then.
