I loved her too. I watched Samantha Who occassionally-it's a cute show and I have a severe crush on Christina Applegate. McCarthy plays a very similar character on the show-she's the better friend of Samantha's two best friends, who could be described as quirky and dependable. Better yet, her weight does not seem to be an issue on this show either. The premise of Samantha Who is that Samantha was in an accident that gave her amnesia and now she's trying to rediscover herself, but as it turns out she's a much nicer person with the amnesia and you do get the idea that Samantha's character might have made fun of McCarthy's character before, but now doesn't.
