Fewer mandatory pills also means less discomfort/pain if you have a hard time swallowing pills.

I'm an invisible unicorn too--depression and anxiety. I'm finally getting help for it, and I'm on my second med seeing what works and while I've only told a few people (outside the internet, where I don't use my real name), and some of them have been giving me crap for taking "happy pills." Yeah, 'cause I'd have totally bothered to take a pill the size of an M&M while my throat is also sick and feels nearly closed if I didn't need it.

Haters to the left, yo.

Great, now I want some jelly beans.

Vicodin is a fucking life saver. I don't care if the anti-Big Pharma hippiedips come after me for this comment; that medication has saved me from taking drastic actions several times.

What a brave post! (At least, I think so, anyway...)

I saw my dr today, who is also wonderful in that he talks to me like a person, with the plus that he has known me since I was an infant. He thinks I may have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome instead of Fibro, although I don't really care what you call it, since they're both really about management anyway... Tomorrow I start a new medication called Symbyax that sounds really promising - it's a combination of three psych meds, with one being Cymbalta, which besides being for depression and anxiety, also is used for joint pain. I'm especially excited, because it will mean I don't have to take so many pills, since it covers everything from pain to depression to psychosis to anxiety to mood swings! I am a little nervous though, because I don't have any health insurance and since it's so new, it hasn't had time to become a generic yet, so I know it's going to be really expensive. I keep on telling myself that recovery is priceless... (I also take Depacot, Imitrex, and Ambien as needed.)
