A pale non-white woman with dark brown hair in an aqua headband and dark blue shirt obscures her face with her hand.

Ōuyáng Dān

Otherwise known as Brandann R. Hill-Mann.

A Pagan, Native American, (formerly) single mother, social justice activist, invisibly disabled, US Navy Veteran, from Almost Canada, Michigan, currently living in the Republic of Korea on Uncle Sam’s dime.

She sometimes tends to write on this blog using “w/” and “b/c”, and believes it is OK to put “…” b/t thoughts.  She also has a bit of a Sailor’s mouth, too. Occupational hazard.

She uses her superhuman tolerance for caffeine and chocolate to fight for social justice, and run this blog for your amusement, all b/f bedtime.  She believes she should use those powers for good.  She said should.

She eats YA Lit for breakfast, dances to cliche music in her underwear, and is a freelance writer who has written for Change.org’s Women’s Rights BlogRacialicous (including the “Love, Anonymously” Blog Carnival), and Bitch Magazine. She has also had work published in the Made You Look publication for Don’t DIS My Ability, and is a founding contributor of FWD/Forward (feminists with disabilities).

She is a great big [gamer dork]*, and will chak your blit, and pwn you, n00b. Extreme snuggles w/ The Guy or kiss attacks from The Kid are her kryptonite, and trampolines provide a dubious threat. She is also pretty sure her cat is trying to off her, so they communicate mostly via Facebook.

random babble… is a collection of her thoughts, ramblings, rants and anything else that crosses her mind, pisses her off, or makes her heart soar.

If you have something interesting to say, or have the fun idea of hiring her, you may contact her at ouyangdan [at] randombabble [dot] com. Lawyers in Italy looking to hold lottery winnings in her bank account or internet bullies and trolls may wait longer for reply. You can also follow her on Twitter (@OuyangDan).

I couldn’t find an e-mail address for your blog so I am leaving you a message here to say that since discovering random babble I have fallen in love with it. I have listed you on my blog at womanist-musing@blogspot.com under blogs I read. I am wondering if that is okay with you?

  3. Yo, can you shoot me an email with a good address for you? I wanted to send you an invite to a call for submissions for an upcoming venture (women’s travel mag) that I’m working on…
